Danfoss is looking for EH&S Specialist at our Romanian Popesti Leordeni site. We are excited to invite our new colleague to the team, where you will ensure that our company meets legal requirements and Danfoss standards in terms of Health and Safety, Fire protection and Environmental protection (including waste management). On this exciting journey and important role within Procurement and Quality Department you will also prepare different procedures, documentations and instructions. One of your areas of responsibilities will as well be to perform internal shop-floor audits, coordinate and represent Danfoss on external audits and ensure all environment measurements and analyses requested by law are performed by accredited companies. Having past working experience within Safety role you also know that cooperation with HR for issuing the risk data sheet for medical tests on employment is part of the job, while being the first contact in relation with legal authorities.
Background And Skills
To be considered for this position, you must have at least Bachelor’s degree, preferred within Health and Safety or Quality area OR relevant (minimum) 2-3 years of experience from corporate Health and Safety position. Due to this you should be familiar with H&S management in production processes, risk assessment and management – evaluation and control of potential physical and behavioral risk, including ergonomics at workplace. You should be familiar with ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001, while experience in working with environmental policies, procedures and programs to assure compliance with state, local and company regulations is a plus! Background And Skills

- Update and complete new applications for permits and licenses, fire and environmental legal reports (Green Field experience is additional asset)
- Apply standards and regulations regarding machine and equipment safeguarding
- Prove leadership skills, drive behavior changes and make sure to deliver due to urgency
- Think strategically, be proactive and organize your daily work in an efficient way
- Use your interpersonal and communication skills to build strong teamwork spirit between colleagues and departments, build relations and cooperate in a positive and open-minded way within international environment
- Actively communicate in English (fluent level required)
