For our Research and Development Center in Timisoara we are looking for a Drawing Checker.

Responsibilities:

• Double-checking of technical drawings according to the current valid standards of ISO GPS (ISwithin the review process
• Consulting about geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) in drawings with respect to functionality and verification (metrology)
• Support and assistance for tolerance analyst experts within the department
• Keep focus of future trends about ISO GPS standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Well-grounded knowledge about the ISO GPS (ISand it current corresponding conceptual- and application-standards

• Well-grounded knowledge about the ASME – 2009 standard as compensation if knowledge lack of ISO 8015 is given
• Elementary knowledge about metrology with AUCOM certification / graduation
• Elementary knowledge of 3 dimensional tolerances analyses with software tools preferably 3DCS or Vis VSA
• Understanding of complex mechanical mechanisms

• Excellent English communication skills both spoken and written
• Ability to explain some colleagues with lacking knowledge in a simple and understandable way specific callouts of drawings
• Assertiveness
• Ability to work as a team player in fast and deadline driven environment
