Data Protection Specialist

Job Description

Gameloft is looking for a diligent Data Protection Specialist. You will be involved in the management of the data protection framework of the company and will communicate on a daily basis with our teams around the world who will help you understand and build your work assets.

You will be part of a young and dynamic collective working in a fun environment, part of a world class company and will help in building companies’ data protection policies

You will be directly involved in the process of design and implementation of data protection specifications in new projects as well as existing ones that get updated.

One of the focuses will be on managing the data protection clauses inside the contracts we have with external partners coming from several areas of the market and oversee our GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Gameloft Data Protection Governance with the Data Protection Officer based in Paris and the Data Protection Team based in Bucharest;
• Conduct data protection regulation surveys (China, Russia, others countries) to support Gameloft Data Protection Governance;
• Follow new regulations and regulators tendencies regarding data protection e-privacy Directive, IABB transparency & consent framework;
• Draft and negotiate data protection provisions into contracts (worldwide);
• Prepare templates, trainings or documentations for employees and COMEX;
• Collaborate with legal team and work on transversal and global projects with the Data Protection Officer and Vivendi Group;
• Review information and consent processes into new projects worldwide;
• Communicate clearly with the management to meet proposed objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

Requirements

• Master degree in IT laws (or other civil laws) / Compliance;
• 3 to 5 years of experience managing data protection;
• Strong knowledge of EU general data protection regulation 2016/679 (GDPR);
• Strong interest in new technologies, IT Security or digital industry;
• Previous experience in a digital company;
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required, conflict resolution skills a plus;
• Detail-oriented;
• Ability to work effectively and accurately in short deadlines;
• Autonomous and organized.
