Backend Software Engineer - PHP
We are looking for a talented backend developer that has a passion for coding to join our team.
We are a young at heart company with a Google like philosophy of work hard and play harder.
Essential knowledge and experience
* At least 3 years of professional web development experience working with PHP / CSS3 / HTML5.
* A good understanding of SQL and hands-on experience working with MySQL / POSTGRES/ MariaDB
* Knowledge of at least one modern development framework like Laravel / Symfony / Zend / Yii.
* Understanding of OOP principles and methodology.
* Understanding of web technologies and W3C standards;
* Comfortable in English, both spoken and written, as most of our clients are based outside the country.
We will consider a plus:
* University degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
* Experience with source control systems like GIT or SVN;
* Experience working with a Unix based OS (Mac / Linux)
* Experience working with Magento or / OpenCart / Prestashop
* Knowledge of Unit Testing and TDD
* Knowledge of the REST architecture
