Digital Marketing Executive in Startup Agency— Ideal for a Student job. Part time 2-month initial Internship, turning to Paid Role

We are happy to announce a new role opening within our start-up agency! Originally funded in London in 2016, the Digital Marketing Agency Marketiu is opening its Bucharest offices in 2019! 

To be sure we are entering the market on a high, we are looking for a Part-Time Digital Marketing intern to help us with the set-up of our Digital operations, as well as Social Media and Content Marketing activities. We are looking to turn this position into a Paid opportunity starting April / May 2019 (depending on the start date), and we believe this is a great opportunity for a Marketing Student to join in, make a step up in their career and make a difference, being involved from the very beginning in the success of our Romanian branch.

Due to the fact the company is backed up by EU funds, we will need someone who has a permanent residency outside Bucharest or Ilfov County (e.g. students from outside Bucharest, studying in the Capital city)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be directly involved in the successful launch of our new branch, as well as support the implementation of our National Digital Marketing Strategy. You will also have the chance to be at the core of new client acquisition, supporting Inbound and Outbound Business Development operations and Prospecting. As the company grows, you will also have the chance to be directly involved with implementing Digital Marketing campaigns for clients, attend Client meetings and organise Agency events, to position Marketiu as a national Industry thought leader.

Required skills:

Ideally, we are looking for someone who….

• Is proficient in English
• Has previous marketing experience (at least 6 months in a similar position)
• Has previous Sales / Business Development experience (desirable)
• Has experience managing Social media such as Facebook and Instagram and using Social Media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer
• Is passionate about writing content (blogs) and understands how Content Marketing fits within a broader Digital Marketing strategy and Mix
• Has good graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator)
• Easily understands technology and is good at using it in Business processes
• Has an eye for detail and creating appealing marketing materials
• Is a fast learner and has a proactive attitude
• Is a self-starter, with an Entrepreneurial spirit
• Has great communication skills, being able to both actively listen to a client’s need as well as identify opportunities to up-sell or cross-sell agency services 
• Is able to effectively multi-task, managing priorities and successfully hitting deadlines
• Has a track record of successfully finalising projects (both professional and personal)

Desirable Skils:

• Has practical experience with Email Marketing
• Has experience with working with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
• Has experience with PPC / Google Ads and Google Analytics
