ABAP Technical Consultant

itsme, an industrial wholesaler and logistic service provider from the Netherlands, is looking to expand their IT capabilities in Cluj.

For this we are looking for a hands-on ABAP technical consultant.

As a technical consultant you are responsible for the technical side of many improvements we will do to our current system. It is important to take ownership of the implementation of a solution. This means understanding the problem and the process, identify existing and missing functionalities and of course, the implementation of the technical solution.  

You will work together closely with the existing international functional and technical team.

Desired skillset:

• Pro-active attitude.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of SAP ABAP
• End-user / functional experience with any of the SAP ECC modules: FICO/SD/MM or LES.
• Good knowledge of English, German, Spanish or Dutch are an advantage.
• Being able to present different solutions for a problem and explain the most appropriate one.
• Knowledge of CPI and/or PI is an advantage
• Experience with SAP Hybris software (C4C, Marketing, Commerce) is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Design or propose technical solutions in collaboration with our functional team and the end users.
• Implement solutions in SAP ABAP based on specification or problem statement delivered.
• Troubleshoot SAP related issues.
• Propose improvements to our current way of working.
• Understand and give feedback to technical specifications.  
• Improving current ABAP solutions.
• Write documentation on the solutions implemented  .
• Provide extra hands in supporting or other software packages (Hybris) or infrastructure, when necessary.
